Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Being the child of two NASA astronauts Kristin grew up in the industry of space. She was a part of the space industry for five years, covering the Trump and Biden Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. While there she also reported on two impeachment proceedings for President Trump and the presdiential 2020 campaign and two administration's efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus. The reporter also went on numerous journeys with the president and vice president and was a part of a classified visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter, before being hired by CBS in the year 2015. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients like Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds earned a Bachelor in Science in Journalism which she received at Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their 3-year-old daughter.
